Christmas Wishlist

Todays post is going to be my christmas wishlist. Im particularly looking forward to christmas this year and the boxing day sales as i actually managed to save up for it this time. Although i havnt asked for any of these items, this is what i want to get if i do get any christmas money.

So the item that is at the top of my wishlist is trainers. I am in need of some new shoes because as i now where different ones everyday for college ive worn them out alot quicker than usual. I really want the all black nike roshe runs ( shown in the collage above) as well as the  adidas campus 80s in navy. 

I definitely want to get some real technique brushes as i dont own any at the moment and theyre a must have for any make up lover. I particularly want the set shown in the picture, i cant remember whether its Sams or nicks picks but whatever. I also want the sponge because i need something better to apply my foundation with and i have heard many positive things about this sponge. 

For the soap and glory items on my wishlist, im hoping to get these in the boots half price sale on boxing day because the gift sets become even better value for money, however i have a feeling that one of my friends have got me some items as well so im excited to open the gifts they got me! (regardless if its soap and glory or not)

Lastly, to everyone that asked me what i wanted i just said money or gift cards, this way i can just go shopping and get clothes for college and buy what i need. 

sorry that this was such a short post, i didnt really ask for anything and i also dont particularly need many things either.

Top 5 Beauty Items Collab

So todays post is going to be my top 5 beauty items. This is a collab with lovely Hannah from Instagram and here on blog spot, and as always all links will be at the end, so dont forget to check out her top 5 Beauty items too after this.

So my first favourite would be my bronzers. I know this probably counts as two but im going to put them together because i like to use them both together. Firstly, i have my MUA contour kit which i previously mentioned in my july favourites. I love to use the bronzer from this to start defining my cheek bones. However i then go in with my Bourjois chocolate bronzer at the top of my cheek bones to give it more of a glow for where the definition starts ( i think that makes sense). I also think that the highlighter from the bourjois duo that i have is better than the mua one as you dont need as much product for it to make a difference. 

My second must-have would be my rimmel lasting finish 25 hour foundation. This is a super high coverage foundation but is definitely build-able, so it can be as light or as full covarage as you need it to be. I would highly recommend this foundation to anyone and ive also heard it suppose to be a dupe for the MAC one, although dont quote me on that im entirely sure. 

For my third favourite i have chosen the maybelline brow drama. As i dont like to make my eyebrows look fake and already have quite full eyebrows this is the perfect brow product to use if you want to sculpt your brows in place as well as giving them a slight tint to make them more defined. i would definitely recommend this to anyone starting out who wants a subtle make up look. It is also really inexpensive and lasts ages. 

My next beauty must have is my rimmel wake me up concealer. It is really brightening, light and doesnt dry out your skin which i find alot of concealers do. It is perfect for dark circles, and then using as a base for when you do your highlighting everywhere else. 

My last favourite is my PS love lipliner which is a gorgeous nude colour.  I wont spend ages on this as again i mentioned this in my july favourites so if you would like to read more about it then click here. Its definitely worth checking out as it is only £1!

Beauty Wishlist Collab!

Hi everyone, So today i am going to be doing my beauty wishlist. This is a collab with the lovely Ella from Ellasdelights here on blogspot. All links will be at the end so please make sure to go and check out her post after this. Until Ella had suggested this i had never seen this post been done on any blogs or youtube, therefore i am really excited to do mine and go read other peoples too, so if you do decide to do your wishlist be sure to let me know in the comments and ill go and check it out!

Anyway, the first item that i would like to buy is the Rimmel wake me up foundation. Recently, i brought the concealer and i loved mixing it with my collection one and i love how brightening it is. This is also the only Rimmel foundation that i havnt tried and i have been really impressed with the others so im sure this would be good too. 

The next items on my wishlist are the maybelline colour tattoos. I currently own one in 'creamy beige' however i wasnt meant to pick this shade up as it was in the same row as the gold one that i wanted, but as i was rushing i didnt check. Although i love the formula of this i only use it as a base because this shade is practically the same colour as my skin so isn't noticeable at all, but i definitely want to try out some more brighter colours that i can use all over the lid because im not very good at eye-shadow at the moment so these would be a better alternative. 

The next item that i want to try out is the maybelline lash sensational. Im not going to go on and on about this because its one of those products that everyone is raving about at the minute, but i want to give it a go and see if it does anything for me as i dont wear mascara due to my lashes being really really short, and i have heard that this is supposed to be the best drugstore mascara at the moment. 

I also want to purchase one of the new rimmel kate moss nude lipsticks that have just been released. I have seen a few shades in store but everytime i have been in there, there isnt many left so i think ill be watching some reviews on youtube and then ordering them online, but let me know if you have one and if you like it or not. 

The next thing on my wishlist is the MAC set and fix spray. I used this at my friends the other day and it kept my make up on all day until i came home which is great for me because my make up never lasts the whole day and just seems to disappear, so i think this a must have product that i definitely need to pick up the next time i go into town.

The next product that is on my wishlist is the mayebelline age rewind concealer. Again i have heard so many good things about this and as concealers are my favourite make up item i feel like you can never have too many.

The next two items on my wishlist are the maybelline baby skins. I have been wanting these for ages now but as i have read so many mixed reviews i never end up picking them up. However, i definitely think ill get these when boots or superdrug put their 3 for 2 offer on all cosmetics, that way if i dont like them i have wasted as much money. 

Finally, the last product on my wishlist is a MAC lipstick. I dont have any particular shade that i want, i just dont own any mac items and i think the best item to start out with would be a lipstick as everyone is always raving about them. So if you have own any let me know which one is your favourite and ill go and test it out!

So, that is everything on my wishlist that i am going to share with you this time. I enjoyed doing this so i may do a part two next month or a clothing one.

July Favourites Collaboration

This is a collaboration with 'lady of elegant'. She has an amazing instagram account and a flawless blog so please go and check it out. ( all links at the end)

July has went so fast and im really sad because it means i only have one more month left before i have to get back to work. However in July i had some money which i had saved up and decided to go out and spend it all (as usual)

So my first favourite is this lip balm that is like a copy of the EOS ones except it was only £1. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it actually is but i love it so much im going to go back and buy all of the other flavours! The one i picked up was Blueberry and it smells amazing. I love it so much because its not a greasy lip balm which i find most ones are, and is really moisturizing. I also like how its solid, so it lasts long and doesn't make too much product go on your lips if you get what i mean.

My next favourite is this Lip Liner that i picked up in Primark from their 'PS love' collection a few weeks ago. It is a pinky nude colour and is just amazing. This was the first Lip liner i had ever brought and i was really impressed and have been quite a few others recently. I find it can sometimes be slightly drying on your lips so thats why i always apply the lip balm mentioned above before applying my make up, so that the time i come to do my lips theyre more moisturized, and it gives it a good base to work on. 

My third favourite is the Victoria secret spray in 'Pure seduction' just because it smells so good! If you want more information on that check out my last post by clicking here.

Next, i have also been loving my MUA contour kit. It can be hard trying to find a dark bronzer for my skin tone without it being orange but im so glad i brought this one. It comes in two shades, light/medium and medium/dark. I got the medium/dark which is the perfect shade for my skin which means i can contour happily! Not to mention it comes in gorgeous gold packaging and also has a beautiful highlighter...not mentioning it is only £5! I would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a contour kit because you will not be disappointed.

Along with this i have also been enjoying the Rimmel wake me up concealer. i fount that the collection one that everyone raves about is really drying and can crease, but both of these together are
the perfect combination as it creates a high coverage, that is light and brightening at the same time.

I have also been loving my new brushes that i brought from ebay. In the picture they are the ones with the gold detailing towards the top. These were only £5 for 10 brushes and they are so so good! Non of the bristles have fallen out and they are all so soft. It comes with 5 larger brushes which are great for foundation and powder, and also has some angled ones which work amazing for contouring. It then includes 5 smaller brushes which are really soft and fluffy and are amazing to work with, with eye-shadow and concealer. So if youre just starting out with makeup or are in need of some brushes, definitely get these ones.

Something i have also been loving this month are my new earphones. Not only are they silver and white which makes them the best looking earphones i have ever owned, but they also have incredible sound quality and the bass is amazingggg! i brought them on sale for £2 and i really wish i got more as backup pairs but if you see these definitely pick some up and let me know on my Instagram where you have seen them, as i cant remember what they're called and need more.

I have also been wearing my pandora ring every single day without fail, which is surprising for me as i always forget or get bored of things after a while. This is the heart stacking ring and i got this for my birthday from two of my friends. I definitely want to save up and get another one so that i can eventually have my own stack of them.

Perfume Collection!

Im back! ive relaunched my blog so i hope you like the new design. I'll be posting at least once a week now so please follow me on blog lovin' (button on the side>>) and instagram so you dont miss a post.

Anyway...

My perfume collection!

In this post ill be discussing the perfumes that i use daily. I do have some other perfumes that are not in the picture above that i will mention at the very bottom of this post too, but i just thought to keep it short id do my main ones. Im not that great at describing scents but ill try my best to describe them myself as well as using information that i find about each of them. 

So you have an idea,I tend to go for quite light, floral, fruity, girly scents for perfumes to wear on a day to day basis. But then i also switch it up and go for strong and quite mature scents for evenings, when I'm going out or on special occasions. But im that person who is always spraying and has something different on everyday. 

Firstly, i have my favourite perfume ever which is Alien by Thierry Mugler. This is the purple stone one on the bottom left of the picture and as you can see the packaging is amazing. I have the 30ml which i got for my birthday but after christmas ill be buying the 90ml. It has a 'Distinctive and mysterious, yet comforting and soft scent' as well as a strong floral scent and Ive loved this for years. This is the one fragrance that i will repurchase again and again because i haven't smelt a perfume that smells better than this. 

The white bottle behind that is a JLS perfume. I wasn't a fan of JLS but i got this on sale for £1 and its an ideal scent to wear when I'm not going anywhere because its not to strong.

Next to that i then have a soap and glory spray which is light and floraly(if that's not a word it is now). I always carry this around in my bag just to spray throughout the day whenever i need to freshen up and its good to chuck at the bottom of your bag because it wont break and is small and light. 

I then have the DKNY perfume in the tall bottle which i brought from Harrods in London last year. This is a very strong floral and almost musky scent which is not what i normally go for so its not my favourite but at the time of buying it i had smelt about 20 other different perfumes so i just chose it randomly because i needed one whilst i was staying in London for a week. However i do get compliments when wearing it but personally I'm still unsure about it. 

Next to that at the back i have two Victoria's secret sprays that i brought this week as Ive been wanting them for ages. I brought Pure seduction which is a deeper, sexier scent with hints of red plum and sweet freesia and ill be saving this for when i go to sixth form to carry around with me in my bag. I then also picked up Mango temptation which is a fruity scent as you would expect from its name, so i thought that this would be a perfect summer scent for me to use this year. 

In front of that i then have the lady gaga fame perfume which i also got for my birthday this year. I find it interesting that its black but then sprays clear and i also love the gold detailing on the bottle. It has a 'dark, sensual and light' layer and contains a fusion of honey, saffron and apricot nectar. But then also has a rich floral layer of orchid and jasmine and has a unique 'push-pull technology' which combines both of the layers together in order to make it floral and fruity at the same time. 

Going back across i then have a FCUK body spray that i brought from boots. Again i carry this around in my bag along with the other body sprays as i like to change from time to time. This again is also a strong floral scent. 

I then have the Miss Dior Cherie perfume which has gorgeous packaging! 'fresh, fruity, citrus prelude into blossoming floral notes before finally concluding with musk'. This is a perfect scent to wear when going out for a evening meal or on a special occasion.

Finally, as i said i would quickly mention at the start i also have:

If you have no idea what this is (like me before) its an award to help grow and promote blogs. I consider myself as a very tiny blog because i know myself that i need to put more effort in for it to succeed.

Questions i got:

If you could be a youtuber for a day who would you be?

well this would be expected but obviously Zoella! i'd do anything to have the job she has it would be amazing! Or bethany mota because then id be able to do other things in america that i probably wont ever do in my life.

what is your favourite make-up brand?

ive only recently got into make-up more mostly because of watching youtubers. I havnt got any high-end make up items so everything i have at the moment is drugstore. So i dont think id be able to choose one but my top two would be Rimmel and Mua. Rimmel's match perfection is amazing, ive brought it three times already, and the wake me up concealer is okay too, and their powders, kate moss lipsticks etc. Thinking more of what they have now thats probably my favourite one. But Mua is so underated as people automatically think because its cheap its rubbish, but there bronzer is better then the bourjois chocolate one! and the lipsticks and brow products are amazing!

Favourite shop?

H&M and primark. recently, these two shops have gone so much better, primarks quality has improved loads and they do loads of things that are pretty much identical to topshop stuff. H&M have loads of nice tops and jumpers at the moment that are perfect for spring and i love with their handbags!

Who inspires you the most?

i dont think one person in particular inspires me. many youtubers like Zoella, Tanya, Alfie and cookiemonster (adelaine) teach me to just do what i want to do and to be yourself and not what society wants you to be. My sisters and parents inspire me to work hard and get a good job so i wont ever have to struggle. My friends have a massive impact on the things i do because they always  encourage me to do things i wouldn't normally, so alot of people really.

why did you start your blog?

 i liked how it was like being a youtuber but you didnt have to speak, film and have amazing equipment to do it and you could do it without anyone knowing who you were etc. 

what is your dream career?

To be a successful youtuber or a celebrities personal assistant, ideally the kardashians or one of my favourite artists.

what is your favourite book and why?

i dont really read alot, but i think my favourite is probably Girl online as it was one of those that you just wanted to constantly read and never put down. 

Favourite Female and Male celebrity?

Probably Khloe Kardashian and chris brown? khloe because shes exactly like me except she is gorgeous! For a favourite male celebrity i dont really have one but at the moment im quite liking chris brown(:

Favourite subject at school?

i dont have one because year 11 is so stressful. But probably Pe because its like a chilled out lesson or photography. 

Favourite item of make-up?

bronzer is a must!

where is the best placed you have ever visited?

ive only been on holiday twice so i dont think i have one thats ever stood out to me. Probably london because its just full of things to do and places to go.

New years resoltuions collab with the girl in the blue dress!

Hey! today i am going to be a doing a post about the new years goals i have set for myself. i am not the type of person who says ''new year new me'' kind of things because if i ever want to do something i start from that moment, there's never point waiting!

But anyway...These are a few things that i am definitely  going to try my hardest to stick too!

1) Might as well start of with the blog itself...I am going to try to post a lot more because id really love it if i could build my blog up. i feel like you get to meet and talk to more people more if you get your blog noticed alot more. dont get me wrong i love instagram and my 5.5k followers, but its just becoming a place where no one really communicates with each other and its about how many followers you have and the number of likes on each post:/

2)Obviously like every single year for the past 7 years of my life which ive never actually done is too loose weight. i think this year i really have a reason too, and will have a better benefit for me when i leave school. As well obviously Doing much more exercise and maybe even starting the gym.

3) This is a small one which i recon i can stick to if i try hard at it.... Its to stop biting my nails! i read a blog post the other day on ' A piece of elish's ' blog about how to stop biting your nails and its gone quite well so far. i really want to grow them so i can stop buying fake nails. 

4) Speaking about growing... i also want to grow my hair out longer, maybe change the colour and grow my eyelashes and eye-brows out thicker and longer. I am currently trying this new treatment that is suppose to help it so i shall let u know if it works for me as its only been 5 days. 

5) Is to start having a daily skin routine! i have started a lot more now and i am sticking strong to these goals so a pat on the back to me. However i want to start using my n-spa four stage treatment kit to cleanse, tone, polish and exfoliate my face. i may only do this four steps once a week, but i definitely want to start using my new nivea stuff that i got for christmas every night.

6) To start a make up collection. i literally have the basics of make up of just the general things that i need. But after watching so many youtubers day after day i want to start trying out much more drugstore make up types and some high end things too. My must is to buy atleast one mac lipstick and a benefit product, as well as collect a few real technique make up brushes ( may buy a few tomorrow when shopping!:D)

7) Lastly, is to not care about what anyone thinks and just do what i need to do and what makes me happy!!
